I was desperate to see the Great Ocean Road and eager to travel through the Grampians National Park – my first taste of a more regional Australia. And it did not disappoint.
I had slight apprehension about the tour and whether it would match my expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised and met some really fascinating people. I was out of my comfort zone, for sure, but feel blessed now to have the memories that we all made together.
The beauty of the Great Ocean Road & the Grampians speaks for itself, so queue a lot of photos that hopefully capture that.
Our first day was spent travelling and driving in our bus from sight to sight. The weather wasn’t great, but it added to the atmosphere and we saw most of the main sights. I can’t wait to hopefully return to see it all again, and spend more time in each place.
We drove, we explored, we got drenched, we hiked, we stood on top of mountains, we saw waterfalls, we had a BBQ, we drank beer, we played cards, we learnt history & we had an epic 3 days.
